Each of the last few years we have succeeded in growing this grand event to a new peak of attendance, and at some point there is a feeling of realistic expectation that sustaining this growth cannot continue………..but not this year!
Another year for our big alumni event and another record year for golf teams, alumni attendees and active chapter participation. We have certainly hit our stride with a sizable contingent of brothers who can be counted on to show up year in and year out, and to all of those guys we cannot thank you enough for the support. The real growth from year to year though comes from reaching out to and reconnecting with brothers that have been out of the loop and getting them involved, and that only happens with everyone working on getting their group of guys to buy in and commit to attending. Please do not stop these efforts as they are clearly working and improving the overall experience of our events. If you have any comments on this year’s event or suggestions/improvements for next year’s event please email us at email@example.com.

I know it was announced at this year’s banquet, but for the rest of the brothers that could not make it out this year, this will be my last transmission as President of ZTAA. We have completed the transition to the new ZTAA Executive Board, so you will begin hearing from your new President, Andrew Kramer. I have taken a new role with our housing corporation and will also be serving as the Chairman for the 50th Anniversary event, so I will certainly still be around. I cannot thank all of you enough that have participated in some way in our events throughout my time with the ZTAA. I have met so many brothers from different generations and backgrounds that I might not have otherwise, and much of what I have learned about brotherhood has come from learning about our chapter’s great history and the gentlemen that paved the way for me and many others. I only hope to meet more of them in the years ahead.
In the bonds,
